For us, looking forward to this showcase is like an actor or director finally getting to see their work premiered on the silver screen in front of a real audience. All the blood, sweat, and tears, if you will, out there for the world to experience. So…Start popping your popcorn, folks. Home-a-Rama, an Indianapolis institution, starts its three-weekend event on September 12, 2024. G&G is one of five featured custom builders, and we are ready for our close-up.

BAGI Presents Home-A-Rama 2024

Each year, the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI) pulls out all the stops for Home-a-Rama, a home show that highlights the best of the best in design and building. It features the area’s foremost builders, interior designers, landscape artists and outdoor living gurus, AV suppliers, organizational wizards, smart tech masters, and other top-tier professionals who specialize in making a house a home. This is an opportunity to see what upscale living looks like in Central Indiana’s most sought-after suburbs.

All attendees leave Home-a-Rama with ideas and inspiration – and a lucky few don’t really leave at all. They turn a show house into their dream home. This year’s show is set in Zionsville’s newest, most aspirational community, Promontory of Zionsville.

Tour Stop #1

G&G is proud to play a central role in the Home-a-Rama 2024 production. Our home, the first stop on the tour, is located at 9475 Windy Hills Drive in stunning Promontory. The 8,187 square-foot Modern Vineyard is a true show-stopper. Designed to make the most of every inch of the 2+ acre lot, it boasts luxe outdoor living spaces. Inside (if you can tear yourself away from the pool and pergola), you’ll find a kitchen worthy of a Michelin Star chef with adjoining catering kitchen, a jaw-dropping floating staircase with wine wall, and stone wall features in the basement and foyer entryway.

Catch your breath and explore a massive great room, equipped with a modern fireplace that opens onto the aforementioned covered porch. Wander through five spacious bedrooms, and imagine the possibilities for the bright, airy office/kids’ loft enclosed with glass doors. Smart home technology has been seamlessly integrated throughout to bolster safety, security, comfort, convenience, and efficiency.

G&G’s home also elevates functional spaces to new levels. The basement boasts a fitness room and sauna, wet bar, comfy seating area, and sunken living space with fireplace. The mudroom and laundry room combine utility with uncompromising style – and there’s even a fenced dog run with stone column corners for Fido.
